ARMA Conference October 26 – 28, 2014

The premier event in information governance is heading to the land of sand, surf and sun! ARMA International, the authority on information governance, invites you to attend their 59th Annual Conference and Expo in San Diego, California, from October 26 – 28, 2014, for some very comprehensive educational and networking experiences. The conference will include inspiring keynotes, sessions on cutting-edge best practices and technology, and time to network with others to help you get answers to the questions you have. Your takeaways will be worth far more to you and your organization than the price to attend. Are you struggling with terabytes of electronic information and tons of paper and trying to figure out how to get it under control? There are talks and educational sessions to help you with these struggles. For example, some TED-talk style topics include “Turning Big Data Into Smart Data” and “10 Things You Need to Survive the Big Data Apocalypse”. And you can find real solutions in real time – such as managing mobile technologies and outsourcing information to the cloud.

With over 70 educational sessions, you are sure to find some that apply directly to what you are trying to accomplish. And the Expo will boast 200 exhibitors (including Iron Mountain) featuring hundreds of new tools and technologies in areas such as electronic content management, information governance solutions, cloud computing, social networking, and much more. Exhibitors can also provide advice about the best solutions to your specific needs.

Release Management Cycles

Accutrac Versions are released on a schedule with three cycles per year. Typically those cycles will provide a delivery at the end of January, end of May, and end of September. These releases will be a combination major and minor releases releases and will include new features, improvements to existing features, as well as remediation for known defects.

Service Packs will be released typically on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, if necessary,and will address several non-critical defects. Critical defects are defined as those identified as Priority 1 or Priority 2 production support issues. Not all defects will be addressed in Service Packs as many will be remediated in the next release cycle. Service Packs will be treated as a minor-release and will have all the associated documentation associated with a release. Documentation for both releases and service packs will be created as a general package (for all clients), with any custom features having an addendum available that is applicable to the appropriate client only.

Hot-Fixes will only be deployed to specific customers in the event of a Priority 1 or Priority 2 production support issue. All other defects will be rolled up into a service Pack or the next release.
